Aiming at the shortcomings of capacitive force sensors in wired transmission
a wireless data acquisition system using WiFi transmission mode is designed. For the lower computer of the system
the ESP8684 is used to realize module control and wireless data transmission functions
and the AD7147 chip is adopted for capacitance signal acquisition
and the TPS63802 chip is used to provide a stable operating voltage for main functional modules. The upper computer is designed using C# language
and the application layer communication protocol with the lower computer is Modbus TCP.Experimental results demonstrate that the designed wireless data acquisition system can stably perform short-distance wireless data transmission within approximately 10m and exhibits good endurance capability. The calibration curve shows high linearity with a Type I error of 0.20%
indicating that the system can accurately obtain the relationship between the capacitance value of the plate capacitor and the applied force
as well as the capacitance variation of the capacitor. This system provides an effective wireless transmission reference solution for capacitive force sensors.
