An analysis is conducted on the performance impact of limiting-current zirconia oxygen sensors in thermal vacuum tests.Through mechanism analysis
it is revealed that the mismatch in thermal expansion coefficients between the zirconia and platinum electrodes used in the sensor and the electrolysis of zirconia electrolyte under vacuum conditions are the main factors causing performance degradation.Through thermal vacuum testing
the performance changes of sensors under thermal vacuum environmental conditions are studied
and the influence of thermal vacuum on sensor output
response time
accuracy
and long-term stability is analyzed. The experimental results show that after the thermal vacuum environmental test
the sensors exhibit performance degradation phenomena such as reduced output in a normal environment
prolonged response time
and decreased accuracy and stability. This study provides theoretical basis and experimental support for optimizing the performance of limiting-current zirconia oxygen sensors in extreme environments.
