Existing sensing technologies for low-voltage distribution terminal loads suffer from shortcomings such as narrow measurement frequency band
low accuracy of split-core type
and poor anti-interference ability. To address these issues
a high-precision split-core current sensor for real-time and accurate sensing of terminal load current is developed.A tunneling magnetoresistance(TMR)effect magnetic sensor is employed as the basic element. An anti-interference design method for a flux-concentrating core based on a dual-gap structure is investigated
and a low-power consumption design scheme using unilateral winding is proposed. The developed sensor is applied in smart power supply terminal monitoring scenarios during the Chengdu World Games. The results show that 1)the dual-gap structure significantly suppresses external magnetic interference
reducing a 5Oe interference magnetic field to 0.064Oe in the sensitive axis;2)the basic error of the sensor is better than within ±0.5% and the linearity error is better than 0.1%;3)it enables real-time monitoring and alarm for current overload
helping timely eliminate potential defects and hidden dangers in key power protection circuits. This study holds great significance for realizing real-time state perception and fault early warning in low-voltage distribution networks
and for empowering smart operation and maintenance.
