To address the issues of low signal acquisition efficiency and crosstalk in traditional flexible piezoelectric sensor array signal acquisition
a flexible piezoelectric tactile sensor array with a double-layer stacked structure is designed based on frequency division multiplexing technology
using the STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller unit(MCU)as the control unit and polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)as the sensitive element material. The array consists of 4 large sensitive elements in the upper layer and 64 small sensitive elements in the lower layer. The 8×8 sensor array is divided into 4 regions for independent acquisition
where the large sensitive elements perform regional positioning to control the MCU for signal sampling of the small sensitive element regions.A frequency division multiplexing circuit is used to integrate 16 channels of signals in one region into a single channel for transmission
achieving low-complexity and high-efficiency signal acquisition.Test results show that the sensor array has excellent flexibility
with a sensitivity of 2.0~2.52V/N for the sensitive elements
and the circuit system effectively reduces circuit complexity. This design provides technical support for the application of flexible tactile sensors in fields such as wearable devices and electronic skin.
