Aiming at the problem of low efficiency and high safety risk in high voltage overhead line electrical testing
a non-contact electrical testing sensor for transmission lines is proposed.Using COMSOL Multiphysics software
a finite element simulation model is established for three-phase single-circuit high-voltage overhead transmission lines with different voltage levels
and the electric field distribution is analyzed to determine the height range and safety distance of the electrical testing. To evaluate the effectiveness of the electrical testing sensor
single-circuit and double-circuit electrical testing simulation models of the non-contact electrical testing sensor are established.Parallel capacitive plates are used to sense the voltage of the transmission line at a safe detection distance
and the induced voltage data within the range of -10m to 10m from the plane of the transmission line are obtained. The simulation results show that this sensor can efficiently and safely determine the charged state of high-voltage lines
and can assist in identifying the power outage situation of a circuit in a double-circuit line
which provides a new solution for the operation and maintenance of power systems.
